Chanice Lee's Experience at The Florida March for Black Women

On Saturday, September 30, 2017,  15-year-old blogger, youth activist and entrepreneur, Chanice Lee, showed her support for the Florida March for Black Women by taking over the streets of Miami with hundreds of other girls and women. Much like the Million Woman March, organized 20 years ago to the date, this collective effort promotes unity but also acknowledges the struggles and daily experiences of Black women. This was a life changing moment for Chanice, as she was also one of the youngest speakers at the event. Listen to her extraordinary delivery below as she drives home the point that, "all Black women and girls [need] to realize that we are valuable, we are important, we deserve justice, and most importantly: we matter!"
