He played 27 instruments, made 39 studio albums, had a vocal range that could reach 6 octaves, effortlessly sang in falsetto while having a speaking voice that made his 5"2 stature seem 7"1, was a songwriter of his own music and countless other popular singers, produced music and not for just one genre but for everything spanning from R&B, Pop, Rock to Jazz, Disco, Hip Hop and Soul. He was great at all of these things so to call him a musical genius is an understatement. Prince Rogers Nelson was an icon like we'd never seen. He has no equal. He would have been 60 years old this week. The least we could do to keep him in our memory is create this playlist. Enjoy!
